2. Kurz gesagt
4. Käufe im Spiel
Käufe (z. B. Edelsteine, „Royal Treasury“, „Starter Pack“) wickelt der jeweilige App-Store ab: Google Play (Google Ireland Ltd.) bzw. der Apple App Store (Apple Distribution International Ltd.). Zahlungsdaten erhalten wir nicht. Es gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen des jeweiligen Stores.
Zur Prüfung und Verwaltung der Käufe nutzen wir RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). RevenueCat verarbeitet dabei die Spieler-ID, Kaufbelege und Transaktionsdaten (Produkt, Zeitpunkt, Preis, Währung, Store) sowie technische Geräteinformationen (z. B. Betriebssystem, App-Version). RevenueCat meldet Käufe an unseren Server.
Schreiben Sie uns dazu an aibuy@gmx.net.

2. In short
- Top King has no user accounts. We never ask for your name or email address.
- On first launch the app creates a random player ID and a random secret. We use them to back up your progress online, so purchases and progress survive a reinstall.
- Ads only play when you start one yourself (the “WATCH AD · DOUBLE TO …” button after a run).
- Purchases go through the app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store) and the service RevenueCat. We never receive payment details.
3. Game progress and online backup (cloud save)
Your progress (e.g. gems, upgrades, best results, chosen hero and skin, purchases already credited) is stored on your device and backed up on our server. For this we process:
- the random player ID and a hash of the random secret (never the secret itself);
- the game progress and the time it was last saved;
- your IP address, which is technically required to connect, and technical logs (requests, errors), which we delete after 30 days.
The server runs on Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin, Ireland) in an EU data centre (West Europe). Microsoft processes the data on our behalf as a processor.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the game and your purchases). We keep the progress while you use the game and delete it on request (see section 8). Please include your recovery code (in the game under STORE → TRANSFER PROGRESS) so we can identify your progress.
4. In-game purchases
Purchases (e.g. gems, “Royal Treasury”, “Starter Pack”) are handled by the app store: Google Play (Google Ireland Ltd.) or the Apple App Store (Apple Distribution International Ltd.). We do not receive any payment details. The store's own privacy policy applies.
To verify and manage purchases we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). RevenueCat processes the player ID, purchase receipts and transaction data (product, time, price, currency, store) and technical device information (e.g. operating system, app version). RevenueCat reports purchases to our server. There we keep, per purchase, the transaction ID, product, time, store and price, so that each purchase is credited exactly once. We keep this data for as long as statutory retention periods require.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (retention obligations). RevenueCat also processes data in the USA, on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game only shows “rewarded” ads that you start yourself. There are no forced ads, and players who bought the “Royal Treasury” see no ads at all. Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes, among other things, your device's advertising ID, your IP address, device and app information, and information about your interaction with the ad.
Where the law requires it (e.g. in the EU, EEA and UK), the game asks for your consent with Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before the first ad. With consent, ads may be personalised (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, Google shows non-personalised ads and processes data only as far as needed to deliver and bill ads and to prevent fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time in the game under STORE → PRIVACY CHOICES. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings.
Google may process data in the USA (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). More: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. App store
When you download the app, the app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store) processes data, such as your account and device information, under its own responsibility. We have no influence on this.
7. Nothing else
We do not sell data. We do not build user profiles of our own, use no tracking of our own, and make no automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. You are not required by law or contract to provide data. Without the online backup, your progress simply stays on the device.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR), e.g. under STORE → PRIVACY CHOICES. To exercise these rights, write to aibuy@gmx.net.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
9. Changes
We update this policy when the game or the services it uses change. The version published here applies.
